I received my discovery set and I’m so impressed and so in love with them all! These fragrances are high quality and so unique! I’m trying to decide on which large bottle I will buy! I

Was really excited to have found a small and niche perfume brand from Bluesky. I picked 5 and let the perfumer choose the 6th one between two and they gave me both! Such a sweet gift and got a hand written card with a sticker. I love it when brands build up consumer loyalty with their great service and experience. All the perfumes we do interesting, new , and uncommon so it’s was fun to try them all.

I tried layering perfumes for the first time and thought this would go well with The Recluse. This scent was the strongest of the two and is what I predominantly smelt like; and I was told I smelled like pancakes and a rich white person’s home. Wearing it by itself make it better, love this one. Ordered in a 6 perfume try out kit.

Sweet and almost nostalgic! Blueberry is noticeable but on my skin it is very lavender heavy. Summer type fragrance and takes me back to a lavender field, and also blueberry picking I did 2 summers ago. Didn’t test for longevity unfortunately as the lavender had too much power levels for me, but I know for some people this would be a plus and not a deterrent.

Fermented bitter strawberry! Interesting and complex, also smells like I expected (positive). I didn’t notice too much evolution, but the scent is EXACTLY what’s being sold to you by description. Strawberry left unpicked in the field for too long, the end of summer. Bitter, almost a breakup fragrance to me. 9+ hours.

Spooky and misty! Granny Smith apple at first but more green and not sweet. Then it gets more mossy with a hint of stone. Weird way to describe it, but it smells quiet and foggy, near, but not inside a forest. It also smells like you’re alone. Very interesting to smell and memorable. 7-8 hours!

Sexy and mysterious! Powerful cherry scent, later transitioned to an increasingly noticeable sakura scent, gentle but interesting base notes. Feels like taking notes in a corner in the library and staring out the window while someone shyly admires you. Lasted about 8-9 hours!

Very sweet, fruity, and fun! Pineapple comes out to me at first. Later, strawberry and mango became more noticeable with a hint of floral. While the top notes didn’t sell me, the heart notes totally did! Hanging out with friends in the summer vibes, not quite nostalgic but it felt like I was making memories. 7-8 hours though I got pretty nose blind hour 4!

All of these reviews are done with washed and unmoisturized wrists. I can say that all of these were really cohesive in concept and had great longevity!

While I don't advise people to blind-buy full bottles of fragrance, I sometimes fail to follow my own very good advice, and on this occasion I'm so glad that I didn't! No samples of Melancholy were available when I purchased a discovery set. However, I kept getting drawn to the description here (spicy, sexy, fresh) and the allure of real tuberose absolute. I decided to take the plunge and purchased a full bottle of this along with the winner of my discovery set, Frooty. *I AM SO THRILLED WITH THIS DECISION* because it's precisely as described! Mossy, leafy green notes with woods, a touch of herbaceous lavender, some cool spices, green melon (of course) and a gorgeous tuberose, all sitting next to fresh water. Excited to wear this, especially as warmer spring weather emerges.

The scent truly brings with it an experience, not just a pleasant smell. The crisp green apple right up front is such a lovely cold bite that mellows out into a subtle musk and floral. I was transported right back to my favorite graveyard I walked through in Scotland and I can't stop sniffing the bottle!! This WILL be my official spring fragrance!! Cannot recommend "creep" enough!!!

I was really impressed by how unique the HG scents were. In particular I admired how earthy Creep is - you can really smell the damp dirt theme. Death of a Strawberry impressed me, the theme of decay was intriguing but the scent ends up feeling both off-putting and wearable. In my mind the fragrance as a whole can most closely be summed up as the incense smell you get when you enter a crystals shop. I think it's full-bottle worthy!

I received my sample set this morning and have spent some time with each of these, and what can I say? These are delightful, playful, beautiful fragrances. This isn’t a style I typically choose for my own personal fragrance collection, and I wondered if I’d find a fit here. Happy to report that there’s more than one! The compositions are masterfully restrained and blended, with a range broad enough for something to appeal to most people. Thank you for these creations ns, Ember!
